Our History
Rooted in Community
Our journey began in 2012 as Black ICE Martial Arts, with a focus on providing students a structured and challenging environment where they could grow physically and mentally.
In 2015, we became the 5280 Karate Academy Foundation and continued serving students and families in Westminster and the greater Denver area.
Today, every instructor is a volunteer. They donate their time, experience, and energy because they believe martial arts can be a positive force in students' lives.

Volunteer-Led Instruction
Our master instructors and black belts donate their time so resources can stay focused on the students and the facility.

Who We Serve
All Ages & Families
We proudly serve children, teens, and adults. Many of our students train alongside their family members, creating a shared experience that strengthens bonds at home and on the mat.
Varied Abilities
Martial arts is a personal journey. We welcome individuals with varied abilities and experience levels into a supportive environment where each student can learn at an appropriate pace.
The Local Community
Anchored in Westminster, we provide a structured, positive outlet for the greater Denver area. Regular classes are held every Monday and Wednesday.
